In this session, Lisa Hay explores the ways in which the new edition of the CLC works with and improves upon the long-standing language map, especially considering how students can develop language skills appropriate for engaging with the ancient world in the 21st century. She considers, amongst other areas, the adaptations to the language mapping and presentation of linguistic material; opportunities for developing a broad range of reading skills; and the role of the student as an active translator.
